IN BRIEF
By setting up a “European Reference System for Facilitators” ReSyFac wants to contribute to the transparency and recognition of the qualification and competence of facilitators of work integrated learning. This system of reference is supposed to establish an additional element for the development of the ECVET-system.

AIMS, OBJECTIVES AND PROCEDURES
Using investigation instruments developed by GAB Munich a study based on the judgement of national experts in 27 European countries (each partner filing a study concerning the own country as well as in two or three other countries) shall provide an overview on:
a) the state of the IVET and CVET systems in all these countries, focusing especially on the chances and obstacles towards introducing a National Qualification Framework (NQF) leading towards an NQF;
b) the prevailing kind and quality of processes of training and learning in enterprises;
c) the existing and aspired profile concerning the duties, tasks, and competences of a facilitator.
d) On the basis of best practise models and by the identification of zones of mutual trust concerning the regions that can be grouped by cultural similarities and can offer points of common reference a transnational network and cooperation in the field of facilitation of learning in SMEs will be enforced. This is supported by instituting an electronic internet portal.
For purposes of transfer and sustainability the project partners will initiate „empowerment workshops“ and further national activities.
The evaluation of this project is taken care of by ISOB Institut für sozialwissenschaftliche Beratung GmbH, Wenzenbach, Germany.
