Identity and Difference: Creative Artistic Exercises as Didactic Support in Adult Education

In the project ARTID, European pioneer-institutions will collaborate for the first time in order to develop a general concept of artistic and creative activities in Adult education. This will also enable other adult education institutions, which are new to the field to benefit from previous experiences and gained knowledge, as well as introduce these methods into their educational program.

EUFACINET

European Facilitators Network – A Network to Promote Professional Facilitation of Work Integrated Learning

The project promotes work integrated learning that will enhance the involvement of all employees in Life Long Learning (LLL) activities. This is a Priority of the EC LLL policies reflected in the Education and Training 2010 work programme in the framework of policies to achieve the Lisbon goals. To achieve this objective there has to be a pool of competent facilitators of workplace learning assisted and strengthened by a support system of resources and networks. Therefore the project EUFACINET aims, building on the results of the CompServSME and other projects, to transfer and supplement the materials produced in CompServSME to other national and sectoral contexts, to provide for an electronic resource platform for European facilitators of workplace learning within SME and to initialise a European Community of Practice of facilitators.

Grassroots Quality Development and Assurance

In small and micro-enterprises, formal QM systems currently play only a minimal role in training. What is missing, for example, is practice-oriented knowledge about quality management, a corresponding attitude and suitable methods and instruments that can be applied in the actual core area of training, that is, the immediate interaction between trainers and trainees and their ability to communicate about matters of quality. The "Grassroots QDA" approach is focused on the stakeholders in initial and continuing education and training.

Service as Art - On the way to innovative and professional work in services

The project focuses on a specific strategy to professionalize work in services. The specific requirement profile of such work, especially in dealing with complex, unclear situations will be addressed using the two models of “artistic acting” and “experience leaded working and learning”. Thereby the pro-ject follows the thesis, that professionalization can be in-terpreted beyond the idea of “service as problem solving” by using the concept of “service as art”.
